Designed for the span
Built for a wide opening
The scale of the site opening shaped the construction approach. This was not a small freestanding balloon arrangement: the entrance needed to cross a broad road span and read as one continuous feature from both sides of the event area.
An aluminium truss system provided the framework for the long-span installation. Organic balloon clusters filled the structure with orange, yellow and deep green, while silver stars and reflective balloons added contrast across the arch.
Early-morning delivery
Ready before the site opened
The team worked to an early access window so the entrance could be completed before 9am. The supplied morning photographs capture the arch in heavy fog, with the buildings, temporary event structures and road still softened in the background.
For a commercial launch, timing is part of the brief. Preparation, transport and the order of the build matter alongside the visual design when the entrance needs to be ready before guests, sales teams and suppliers begin using the site.
Colour and construction
A feature that carried across the road
Close views show how the orange, yellow and deep-green palette was built through layered organic clusters. Silver stars and reflective balloons added bright points across the long entrance feature without changing its overall colour direction.
Transport and power planning
The logistics behind a large outdoor build
The location was comparatively far from the usual service area, and the size of the build required more than a car-load of loose balloons. Protected balloon clusters, aluminium truss sections, equipment cases and working tools were transported together for the installation.
The team also brought an outdoor power system to support the work onsite. The delivery plan was built around the actual event location and its early completion window.

The evening pack-down photograph shows the completed arch after a full day of outdoor activity and sunlight, still holding its overall form when the team returned for removal.
It is a project-specific record of the care taken in the construction and onsite delivery, giving commercial clients a clear view of the finish quality at the end of the event.
