Create a memorable gender reveal moment with a large black helium balloon containing ten pink or light blue mini balloons. When the outer balloon is popped, the coloured mini balloons are released to reveal the result. This version does not contain loose confetti.

🎉 Why We Use 10 Mini Balloons

This updated design contains ten mini balloons to create a fuller and more visible reveal when the black outer balloon is popped.

Removing loose confetti reduces the weight inside the balloon, allowing us to include more mini balloons while maintaining suitable space for helium.

More Visible Reveal Ten mini balloons create a fuller release than a smaller number of internal balloons.
No Confetti Weight Removing loose confetti allows more of the available internal capacity to be used for mini balloons.
Cleaner Celebration Mini balloons provide a colourful reveal without loose confetti spreading around the venue.
Better Indoor Option The mini-balloon design may be easier to clean up after use at homes and indoor venues.
The exact direction and spread of the mini balloons cannot be guaranteed. It will depend on how the outer balloon is pierced, surrounding air movement and the amount of clear space around the balloon.

📧 Sending the Gender Result

After placing the order, please email the gender test result to info@happyballoons.com.au.

Include your Shopify order number in the email so we can match the result to the correct order.

Keep the result private:
Do not write “boy”, “girl”, “pink” or “blue” in a shared cart note if the person placing the order should not see the result. Send the result separately by email.
A girl result will be prepared with ten pink mini balloons. A boy result will be prepared with ten light blue mini balloons.

🎈 No Hi-Float Treatment

Unlike most of our latex helium balloons, this gender reveal balloon is not treated with Hi-Float or another internal helium longevity solution.

The inside of the balloon must remain free from sticky protection liquid so the ten mini balloons can separate and release more freely when the outer balloon is popped.

Best used on the same day:
Because no helium protection treatment is used, this balloon may lose lift and reduce in size sooner than our standard treated latex helium balloons.
We strongly recommend collecting or receiving the balloon as close as practical to the reveal time and using it on the same day.

📐 Balloon Size and Reveal Privacy

The black outer balloon uses a manufacturer size classification of approximately 24 inches. However, it is not inflated to the maximum theoretical size.

Inflating a black latex balloon too large stretches and thins the balloon material. This can allow more light to pass through and may make the colour of the mini balloons visible before the reveal.

We inflate the balloon to an appropriate size that balances opacity, durability, helium capacity and the surprise reveal effect.
Avoid strong backlighting:
Under very strong sunlight, bright lighting or close inspection, internal shapes or colours may become slightly visible. Keep the balloon away from strong backlighting before the reveal.

✨ No Loose Confetti

This updated version contains ten pink or light blue mini balloons and does not include loose confetti.

Reduced Internal Weight Removing confetti reduces unnecessary weight inside the helium balloon.
More Mini Balloons The reduced confetti weight allows us to include ten mini balloons for a fuller reveal.
Less Loose Material There is no loose confetti to spread across the room, floor or outdoor area.
Colourful Reveal Effect The coloured mini balloons provide the main visual reveal when released.

✍️ Print Appearance

The standard “Boy or Girl?” vinyl print is applied to the outside of the black balloon. Because no Hi-Float treatment is used, the balloon may gradually become smaller or softer as helium escapes.

Natural print changes:
As the balloon surface contracts, the external vinyl print may wrinkle, lift or change in appearance. This is a normal characteristic of latex helium balloons and externally applied vinyl print.
For the best visual result, use the balloon as soon as reasonably possible after pickup or delivery.

⏱️ When to Use the Balloon

This balloon is designed for a short-term gender reveal moment rather than extended decorative display.

  • Use the balloon on the same day whenever possible.
  • Keep it indoors at a stable room temperature.
  • Avoid leaving it inside a parked vehicle.
  • Keep it away from heaters, direct sunlight and strong air-conditioning.
  • Remove it from the plastic transport bag immediately after receiving it.
  • Do not leave the balloon sealed inside the transport bag.
The longer the balloon is stored before the reveal, the greater the chance of reduced lift, surface contraction and wrinkling of the external print.

⚠️ Preparing for the Reveal

  1. Keep the balloon indoors and away from strong backlighting before use.
  2. Make sure there is enough clear space around and below the balloon.
  3. Keep guests, children and pets at a safe distance from the popping point.
  4. Use a suitable sharp object carefully and under adult supervision.
  5. Collect and dispose of the burst outer balloon pieces immediately.
  6. Collect the released mini balloons after the reveal.
Burst latex balloon pieces and small mini balloons may present a choking or suffocation hazard. Adult supervision is required at all times, especially around babies, children and pets.

🚚 Chatswood Pickup or Sydney Delivery

This Gender Reveal Helium Balloon is available for pickup from Happy Balloons in Chatswood or delivery to selected Sydney suburbs.

Remove the balloon from the plastic transport bag immediately after receiving it. Do not keep it sealed inside the bag or leave it inside a vehicle, especially where the temperature may change significantly.

Latex helium balloons supplied by Happy Balloons are treated with a professional balloon longevity solution to help slow helium loss and extend float time. However, helium will still gradually escape, and changes in firmness, lift and appearance over time are normal.

For the best appearance, we recommend arranging pickup or delivery as close as reasonably possible to your event time.

Float time and appearance may be affected by balloon type, temperature, sunlight, air conditioning, venue conditions and handling.

🎈 Float Time & Appearance

Latex Helium Balloons

All latex helium balloons supplied by us are treated with a professional longevity solution. This helps slow helium loss but does not stop it completely.

Best appearance is generally within the first 24–48 hours. Over time, latex balloons will naturally become softer and gradually lose lift as helium escapes. These are expected characteristics of helium-filled latex balloons.

Clear Bubble Balloons & Vinyl Lettering

Clear bubble balloons may gradually contract over 24–48 hours.

For the best visual result, clear bubble balloons with personalised vinyl lettering are recommended for events where they will be enjoyed within the first 24 hours.

As the balloon surface gradually reduces in size, externally applied vinyl lettering may lift, wrinkle or change in appearance, even without handling. This is a normal characteristic of helium-filled clear balloons and applied vinyl materials.

For displays requiring longer-lasting appearance stability, foil balloons or other display options may be more suitable.

🚚 Pre-order, Pickup & Delivery

Many of our helium balloon products are made to order and require advance preparation.

Please check the individual product description for the recommended pre-order time.

Our standard delivery window is generally between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. If you require a different delivery time, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability. Once confirmed, write the agreed delivery time in the cart note.

Pickup times must also be arranged within our opening hours.

🎨 Inventory & Handmade Product Variations

Many of our balloon products are made to order and prepared specifically for your event.

Our online inventory may not always reflect real-time balloon colour, design or material availability. If an ordered colour or component is unavailable, our team may contact you to discuss a suitable alternative.

Please note that handmade and custom-made balloon products may not look exactly the same as the example photographs. Balloon size, positioning, colour appearance and arrangement may vary slightly, as each order is individually prepared.

Product images are intended as a style and design reference. We will make every reasonable effort to create a finished product that closely reflects the selected design.

Child Safety

Balloons are decorative products and are not toys. Uninflated or burst balloons may present a choking or suffocation hazard, particularly for young children.

Adult supervision is required. Keep uninflated balloons away from children and dispose of burst or damaged balloons immediately.

Latex balloons are made from natural rubber latex and may cause an allergic reaction in some individuals.

Balloon Care

Keep balloons away from sharp objects, rough surfaces, direct sunlight, heaters, hot vehicles and areas with significant temperature changes.

Freshly inflated helium balloons may have strong upward lift. If balloons are released against a rough or textured ceiling, they may be damaged or burst.

Our plastic balloon bags are intended for transportation only. Please remove the balloons from the bag immediately after pickup or delivery. Do not leave helium balloons sealed inside the bag, especially inside a vehicle or another area affected by heat or temperature changes.

Please reuse or recycle the transport bag where possible.

Environmental Care

Always keep helium-filled balloons securely attached to a suitable balloon weight to help prevent accidental release.

Foil balloons conduct electricity and must be kept away from power lines, electrical equipment and railway overhead wires.

Do not intentionally release latex or foil balloons outdoors. Dispose of balloons, ribbons and packaging responsibly after use.
